Progress is slow right now as the bids for the foundation and excavation work are not coming in quickly. It seems the contractors are very busy right now and do not have the time or capacity to seek out new jobs. We will keep at it, and update everyone with our progress.
Sunday School HELP NEEDED!!!
Sunday School HELP NEEDED!!!

The Sunday School needs a new teacher (or teachers) for the Lower Elementary class. A curriculum is provided with lots of ideas for activities, crafts and lessons. Please prayerfully consider sharing your faith with some of the younger members of our congregation in a small group setting. If you need more information or wish to volunteer, please contact Darlene Vullo or Pastor Mary.
FISH Food Closet Needs
FISH COMBINED COMMUNITIES FOOD CLOSET

For the summer and fall we need : kid's snacks (snack crackers, granola fruit bars, pretzels, popcorn, graham crackers, etc.), canned peaches, canned pears, ketchup, pancake syrup, mayo, lemonade mix, jelly, mac & cheese mix, toilet tissue, shampoo, hand soap & laundry soap. THANK YOU !

This week we meet with the Planning board and received construction approval. We can officially proceed with our project!!!!

We are getting the bids for the foundation and excavation work squared away and hope to have a contractor selected and an excavation begin date established the week of July 24.
New Visitor Parking!
In an effort to make it as easy as possible for visitors to decide to worship with us, we have added a visitors parking area along the side of the church.

If you are a member or regularly attend HFUMC, you are being asked to park a little farther away so that Visitors will be able to find a place to park, even if they are a little late for service. Your extra steps and support of this initiative will help to remove a barrier that could prevent someone from experiencing a worship service with us. An experience that could bring them closer to God and to a life of salvation. Thank You.

Parking is available on East Street, Church Street or in the nearby Honeoye Falls-Lima High School Bus Loop.
