The first Methodist class meeting in “Norton Mills” at the home of Zebulon Norton with the Nortons, Youngs, Moons, Sterlings, Perrins and Cross families was in 1797, which was the first known Methodist class in the old Genesee Conference. The first new religious building was erected at the corner of West Main and Norton Street as their numbers grew.
Our current building was constructed in 1874. The handicap accessibility addition was added in 2018.
