Connections Ministry sends out care packages twice a year to students and military personnel  from our church that are away to remind them that people back home are thinking and praying for them. 

The congregation donates items (microwavable food, home baked goodies, snacks, decorations, small gifts, cards, etc) for a Halloween and a Valentine Day care package.  We gather after church on a Sunday and pack these items into boxes that have been decorated by our youth.  The completed boxes are then mailed to the people. 

These packages bring a smile to the faces of those that receive them.  It always brightens the day when you get a reminder that people are thinking of you from home.  We feel this ministry is a way to keep in touch with those unable to attend due to school or service.
